The Quicklift
The QuickLift surgery is a facelift surgery with minimally-invasive facelift procedure that takes about two hours to perform. Additional cosmetics enhancements, the degree of facial rejuvenation and the age of the patient will affect the length of the surgery.
This type of surgery is most often performed with local anesthesia or Twilight anesthesia.
Surgery begins with making a small “S” shaped incision along the sideburn, extending along the tragus of the ear, around the earlobe and up to the hairline toward the nape. Once the incisions are made near the ear and around to the nape of the neck, the skin and tissue are lifted, pulled upward, and then tightened. This procedure eliminates sagging and wrinkles and tightens skin on the jaw and neck. Quicklift isn’t traumatic like other cosmetic surgeries. What to Expect Before and After

Once you are recovered from anesthesia, you will be allowed to go home the same day. It’s always a good idea to have someone to drive you home and be with you in the next 24 hours until anesthesia effect starts to fade. Also, you may be groggy so that you will need some help just in case. There are some cases with swelling for a few days so you will have the prescription for some pain medication. Most of the people have quick recovery after four or five days and then can resume their normal activities after that.
After the procedure, you should avoid prolonged exposure to the sun and the use of sunscreen if you play to be outdoors for any length of time.
