In a Mastopexy procedure, Dr. Kotoske raises and reshapes your breasts. A periareolar incision is a small cut made just behind the areola. It’s used to remove excess skin and fat from your breasts, as well as tighten and lift them. This procedure reshapes and lifts your breasts to give them a firmer, rounder appearance. The surgery can also remove extra skin around your breast and reduce the size of your areola — the colored circle around your nipple.
